I would love to take this opportunity to thank everyone in the current committee for an outstanding year. We've managed to increase money to all of our societies and sports teams, as well as giving loads back to all of our charities. Along side all of the events which have kept the medical school a formidable and renoun social hub and the spectacular MedSoc ball we are very proud of our achievements. We therefore thank each and every one of you for your love and support throughout the year, and I hope that this can all continue again next year under the guidance of the newly elected committee for 2011/12.

I cannot say that it has at all been easy or without mishap, however drawing together as a committee, as a society and as a medical school we have been able to stay strong and have things fall into place. This simply wouldn't be possible without you.

Could I please urge you all to vote today and good luck to the prospective candidates.
