Chernobyl Children's Project (CCP)

Information
The Chernobyl Children’s Project is a small and very committed group which works throughout the year to raise awareness of the Chernobyl Nuclear Disaster and its consequences, and raise money for children affected by the disaster. Throughout the year we organise and run a wide range of charity events which range from bake sales and bag packs to football tournaments and live band events. There is something for everyone to get involved with and we always welcome any new ideas. We meet every Tuesday evening at Owens Park Bar at 7:30PM. We plan to continue raising awareness of our charity through lecture events and also continue fundraising through bag packs, collections and charity events. Our regular events include the Heroes and Villains Party, Football Tournament and Radioactive Live. We do regular bake sales and collections throughout the year. We are always looking for more volunteers to help out at the various fundraising events we run throughout the year- Please get in contact if you'd like to help out!
