Manchester Psychiatry Society
Information
The Manchester Psychiatry Society is a new student-run society set up for those interested in psychiatry and mental health.
Our aims are to host interesting and informative events such as lectures, debates, and revision workshops. These will not only improve awareness of mental health issues at a student level, but will also allow members to meet psychiatrists regularly and consider psychiatry as a career choice. We are strongly linked with the medical school and course, but will look to encourage membership from any students, particularly nursing and psychology students. Membership is free, and there will be no charge for events! So if any of the above interests you, (or you fancy some free food/wine and a portfolio certificate!) please join our society!
