Medsin

Medsin is a national organisation committed to addressing issues of global health inequalities and raising awareness of important issues through lectures, events and campaigns. This encompasses not just health, but also major issues that affect quality of life. As well as campaigning on some of the most pressing problems that exist in our world today, we are known for some of the biggest and best parties in Manchester, such as the Stop AIDS Red Party. We also act as an umbrella organisation to promote the work of our various member charities, who actively undertake to improve the lives and healthcare situations of people everywhere, from Chernobyl to the homeless of Manchester. Regional and national conferences are also a regular feature of the Medsin calendar, with a big highlight each year being around the Global Health Conference, attracting speakers from around the planet. There are loads of ways to get involved in Medsin, have a lot of fun and do a world of good, changing lives for the better in the process!
